BEHIND THE WORK

Haas Weston.

I’m Haas Weston, a photographer and digital artist based in New York. My background is in photographic production; my personal work spans photography, CGI, and AI-generated imagery.

Originally from San Diego, I spent the early part of my career traveling as a technical lead for a fashion photographer, working on beauty campaigns for L’Oréal and Maybelline. It was a practical education in lighting, digital capture, and getting a shoot across the finish line.

In New York, I managed the Digital Department at Milk Studios before overseeing IT, prepress, and operations at Velem, its post-production studio. I also developed Satellite Space within Velem, helping it grow from a 2,000-square-foot shooting bay into a 4,000-square-foot production facility. Today I direct its operations, working with clients including Estée Lauder and MAC Cosmetics.

This site brings together my photography archive and newer digital work: portraits, products, and interiors alongside abstract forms and imagined spaces. After years of helping other people make their images, it’s a place to spend time on my own.
